Starview Micro (S1812)

Instructions for Tuning in Your Starview Micro (S1812)

Please get your Starview up and running as if you were going to watch TV then follow the steps below:

  1. Press the MENU button on the remote
  2. Using the right arrow (Labelled VOL-) to go across to "Satellite" Menu
  3. Down Arrow (Labelled CH-) unil Auto Scan is highlighted (see pic below)
  4. Press OK
  5. Down arrow (CH-) to highlight 'Search - Free'
  6. Press OK
  7. Searching will start, let it run its course
  8. A screen with Search Over will pop up, press OK
  9. Pres Exit twice to clear the screen
  10. Press OK to bring up your channel list
  11. Scroll through the list to see where the channel you were after is e.g Prime at channel 26
  12. Highlight the channel and ensure the preview to the right is working (see below)
  13. From here you can move/delete the channels you want or don't want.
  14. To move your channels highlight the channel and press 2
  15. Input 0000 as password
  16. You will notice to green arrows will appear next to the channel name (see below)
  17. Press CH+ or CH- to move the channel up or down
  18. When the channel is in the place you want press 2 to accept placement and you will notice the arrows have disappeared
  19. Move all the channels you want to their respective places
  20. To delete additional channels highlight the channel you wish to delete and press 1
  21. You will notice a red X next to the channel name (see below)
  22. If you accidently put an X next to a channel you want to keep just press 1 again to remove the X and cancel the delete
  23. Once you have all the channels you wish to delete marked with an X press OK
  24. It will ask if you want to save, select YES
  25. You are all done with you new channels.
